Yes, if you can swim in open water. Tell the team what you can currently do so they can match you to a group class, a private lesson or another live offer. Sessions are not suitable if ocean activity is unsafe for you.

The coast has surfable waves through the year. Autumn and winter often bring larger Atlantic swells. Spring and summer are generally smaller. The team still checks swell, wind and tide on the day.
